Last Sunday night a colleague and dear friend John Bell passed away. I had known him for only 5 odd months and met him only twice. But we had spoken a lot on the phone and it felt like I had known him for years! A very friendly and jovial person and one of the nicest human beings I have met. It still has not sunk in completely that he is not with us around and he won't be there for our usual meetings. His sudden death brought the realization that life is indeed short and uncertain!
